Leakes Road, Laverton
While I have not confirmed this location for sure, the picture from the film above and the picture of Leakes Road itself below certainly do bear a lot of similarity. It is also work noting that Leaks Road connects with Kororoit Creek Road, both of which are just south of Cherry Lane. So while the two pictures here aren't an exact match, it seems most likely that this is the spot - if anyone manages to match the exact point on the road to the movie, please just let me know.
