Get the US Special Edition Mad Max DVD - choice of original or dubbed dialogue, high quality picture, trailers, documentaries, etc. The Japanese Mad Max DVD has only trailers, and the UK and Australian Mad Max DVDs have no extras.

Note:
- The Australian Mad Max DVD has excellent picture quality and DTS 5.1 sound, making it
probably the best presentation of the movie itself. On the downside though, the
disc unfortunately lacks the variety of extras of the MGM Mad Max DVD, which has a commentary
track, two retrospective documentaries, and theatrical / TV Mad Max Trailers.
- The Mad Max trailer on the Japanese Mad Max DVD is different to the trailer on the US
Mad Max DVD.
- The Japanese Mad Max box set DVDs have the same content as the
individual discs, just different cover art. See the Japanese
