The replica is based on an "1976 Opel Commodore B", because i think it comes the closest of all European cars to the original.
I built the monza hood with fibreglass, but without the hood scoop. The front spoiler is an original part. The car has the original straight 6 engine, with 115 HP. It has a 3 gear automatic transmission.
This car is pretty cheap to get (but expensive to pay the costs here:)!). I took the photos this summer, on vacation in Spain. It made the way 1500 miles to Barcelona and 1500 miles back, with the envy looks of the police of the countries we drove through :).
