Punisher...I guess I wasn't clear on Max's shotgun, sorry about that. What I meant to say was that at the wreck site of the Chevy, when Johnny the Boy is sitting on the car seat,Max runs up from his car with the pump shotgun...it's (in my opinion) obviously not Johnny's shotgun, afterall where would you carry a shotgun with an uncut barrel on a cycle, right?Later on Max is seen cutting down the barrel of a double barrel right before he leaves to steal the Interceptor and right after he pulls his MFP gear out of the trunk (this has to have been on an HBO/Cinemax version b/c my early copy taped from regular commercial TV is minus that, taped around '84?).Yeah, I know this is the "Holy Grail" of Mad Max to find this copy depicting the barrel being shortened but I swear I remember it to clearly to have made it up and long before I even knew that this is one of those "weird scenes" that is rare to view. What I'm thinking is that I was spending the night at a friend's house and saw it on HBO/Cinemax because my parents were to cheap to buy cable back in the '80's!

Cheers!

Ah, I see, a pump. I seem to remember someone saying that they remember seeing a PUMP being sawn down, and not a double. I wish somebody would find out for sure. If any of you know Mel personally, just ask him if he cut a double or pump, it's that easy.

If it is a major brand you might be able to get parts for it.

(Sorry my reply took so long.) It is a Mossberg US44D. Yeah I know, it sounds like a ladies bra. But it's a military training thingamajig. and man is it old.

Interdictor: I never got to see PF in concert. :( But I have their live albums and the sound is great.

MOSSBERG is a good shotty, i fired a bigarse 500 MARINER. when i was like 17, it was huge, had a folding stock, and the kick pad i was wearing, didn't protect too well.

Have you tried just typing that into your searchbar? You should be able to find something. If not, there is a pretty large parts company that supplies all kinds of people. I'll look up the address.
