Are there going to be any preorder specials or a special edition?

As for the game Mad Max for PS3 and PS4, the release is planned for September 2014. A long time to wait but, we will survive.

I'm sure there will be a special edition of it.

source please? cause after digging through every official channel I can there seems to be no concreate mention of a release date hell my gamefly still has it listed as TBA

Any date is just a placeholder unfortunately. Avalanche and WB haven't said squat lately and with WB releasing a new Batman game in October, I can't see Mad Max in September.

Hopefully we'll hear more at E3 but I'm fulling expecting it to be released in 2015 closer to Fury Road's release.

I think it's interesting how this thread has almost 25,000 views since it started one year ago. This just shows how important it is to incorporate video games into these big tentpole movies nowadays.

neither of these links seem to list any date let alone september and wikipedia is not always the best source. I've tried tweeting at these guys officail account but so far have not heard back. so again I'd ask where you get september from cause I can't find it on either link.

Not that it means much, but I strolled in to a Gamestop last Thursday and asked when it was released. I was told September this year and could put 5 dollars down for a preorder and be eligible for whichever extra stuff there is.

He said something about a Bartertown map.
