My fave car(s) are the two I own just now, my XB falcon and my Golf cabrio

No worries mates, I work with a guy who has to be at leeeeeast a 150 years old...
He's sooo old, death quit chasing him, and died...
If Darwin were still alive, he would throw his theory of evolution right out the window if he saw Howard...
Howard is sooo old, he's already died, 'cept his brain is too slow to know it...
When Howard was born, the wheel was still a mystery...
When Howard takes his belt off, his face and head skin smoothes out...
Howard is sooo slow, we can't quote the length of time it'll take him to finish a project in hours, we use a calendar instead...
...and the list goes on...on a daily basis in the life of the 3-D Studio...

Damn meddlesome kids...!
We didn't have VCR's until I was in college. I remember black and white TV. Pre-Cable. First car I drove was a '79 Z-28 Camaro, and it was brand new!
I have to go doze off in my bowl of mush...

Well, lemme think I'm......... 35. And Senile.
I first saw Mad max in the mid eighties, a short while after I saw Road Warrior on television.
A friend (Who strongly resembles Toecutter, BTW) had it on VHS.
My favorite car that I've owned (Well, technically my folks' business owned it) was my 1973 AMC Javelin SST.
Diamond Blue metallic paint with Pierre Cardin interior package.
I actually still have her. She's in storage in the Big shed at my folks' house.
Decided recently that the time of resurection is close at hand, so she'll be coming OUT of the shed as soon as I arrange for room to finish the work that needs done.
Plus some.. SPECIAL alterations.
I imagine I'll have a black furred Ghost riding shotgun with me. (Max, My late Black Lab mix. Named for an engine, not a Rockatansky)
Second place might be the Noisy Barracuda..

Hi, maybe I could give some light about certains MadMax series details, because I was born in Argentina in 1966.
Back to those days, MadMax1 was in "selected theaters"

. Just the only problem was that I was 13 years old and the movie was for 18 or above. Of course I couldn't see the film, but my older friends did. In fact I knew almost the entire movie by others

. The film had some cuts (specially the Impala part and others I don't remember unfortunatelly). So I was in the dark for many years. (Remember no video rentals back in 1979). In 1982 came RoadWarrior, and the movie was again for 18 or above with some more cuts. Anyway I DID saw RW, anyway at teather. (I remember I was really shocked and when I came home a Sheriff Lobo chapter was being aired on TV jajajajajajajajaja).
The rest is TD in theaters, Video movie rentals and MM1 and MM2 at teathers too (with no cuts!!!!!!!!!!!). Now, I live in Mexico and have the entire MM collection in DVD, and MM1 & 2 in video format.
And my favourite car is the Mach I '73. In fact I owned one of this 2 years ago, but my little baby girl was born and I have to sell it

. It ran like hell. Someday I'll have another one of this.

My turn.

I'm 32 and change right now, and work for an internet-based mail order business for European vehicles. Mad Max nonsense & VWs are my two main interests, hence my screen name.
I first saw Mad Max(the original) in about '81, when my family first got HBO. I was amazed, and didn't remember seeing ads for it when it was released to theatres. The rest, as they say, "is history."
Bronze - I've got a couple more age jokes for Howard, that I usually use for my dad.
- His Social Security number is 5.
- He has an autographed copy of the Bible.
- Jesus was his wood shop partner.

well this thread sure has got moving .... I hit 41 this month, they reckon lfe begins at 40, sh*t that means a lot more drinkin' !!!! I've always said that even though the body is 41, as long as you have the mailto:b@lls of an 18 year old, you can't go wrong !!
First saw Mad Max at age 17, at the local drive-in. Just unbelievable. Never forgot it, and who would ??
NO favourite car, well actually the HT GTS 350 Monaro was always a bit of a favourite. Nowadays, my favourite car is the one I just passed lol ,..... here is a motto for your rear-view.........." WARNING - Objects in the mirror are now coming second."
