I lived at Colorado & Arapahoe for 13 years, and Remember "Sin City" well. Couldn't believe the way it changed the area when it was gone. I had several birthdays at Casa Bonita, used to love the cave, there was a little hole in the wall that you could reach through and touch the tops of poeples heads, really freaked them out!
When were you in Denver? I just moved away last May.

I lived in Colorado Springs and went to Greeley for college off and on for 15 yrs. My aunt lived in Littleton (about a mile from Columbine HS) so we'd go and stay with her sometimes. I haven't been there for almost 3 yrs now.

Back on Jan. 29th, javascript:openWin('pop_up_profile.asp?profile=22','profile','toolbar=0,location=0,status=0,menubar=0,scrollbars=1,resizable=1,width=475,height=340') made an observation that, "Car 17" WOULD make a decent starting point for building an Interceptor. Believe me big guy, it wouldn't. I took those before photos and took video of it too. The car wasn't even worth a few hundred US. The video really shows it true colors and of course, in person , you'd be left speechless. I called the owner several times only to be blown off. Seemed nice enough on the phone, but I definitely got the impression I was bothering him and you could tell he didn't want anything to do with any other US Falcon/Interceptor owners. Probably because he'd know we'd blow any chance of a deal he might have to sell it.
What kills me is, he obviously uses all the benefits of this site and others as well as the knowledge and experience of the owners of the cars and contributes NOTHING back. Extremely selfish in my book, but then again there are a couple others to those types out there. The only hope is that anyone that would want to buy that car would be into the MM movies or Aussie cars so they'd know his deal right away. That's probably why he hasn't sold it in over the past year or so.

Here's a thought:
Send him a registered letter from the Australian Ford Falcon Club and this forum stating that we know for a fact that Car 17 is categorically not from the movie. Then if somebody does buy the car, he can't claim that he sold the car as an authentic movie prop in good faith. Whoever buys it under false pretenses has a recourse to a fraud lawsuit. LOL!
