Well I had a chance to weather it alittle, and I do say alittle. I just can't bear to bring myself to dirty up such a nice thing
Basicaly I just tarnished the silver with a black wash and I think I may hit up the faux wood with some very fine steel wool at some point to dull it down a bit and add some "real" use look to it.

Wow... that looks even better!
I know what you mean about not wanting to mess up a nice thing. I had to take a big breath and just do it when I cut the arm off my leather jacket sleeve, cut up my knee brace, dismantled the truck that became my Humungus vehicle, etc. That's what ya bought it for, so just do it!

LOL, yeah I will eventually. I just want to enjoy it looking good for alittle while first
