And in MM1, the speed-up when Toecutter's gang catches up with Turkeyboy. Ugh.
Also, when Max sets up the gasoline/lighter time-bomb with Johnny; As one who did very foolish things with fire and gas in my youth, I can tell you that if gasoline pours on a lit match or lighter, it will usually just extinguish the flame. As an out for Max though, maybe the lighter touched off the ample fumes present, before the liquid poured over. Or maybe it just wasn't Johnny's day.

MM1: I dislike the sudden disappearance of most of the members of the gang just after Johnny's return. In the script the're killed during the attack against the MFP in the Halls of Justice. Too bad, I just want to see these scenes, but they were never shot because of lack of money.
Who is holding the chain, when Jesse discovers one of Cundalini's components (his hand)?

I always wondered how the gang managed to get so small suddenly too.
Like everyone else, I think the sped up bits of MM2 nearly ruin a damn fine movie.
There's always of course, the question of where they got a new radiator for the truck from in MM2. I really doubt that Radweld (or whatever the aussies use) would be up to the job of filling a bullet hole.

Bubba: The chain is still wrapped around the luggage rack, that's why the hand is dangling when Jesse finds it. Or that's what I've always assumed, anyway.

Mad Max1: the beach scene. when Zanetti talks into Toecutter's ear and then Toecutter fires the shotgun into the air. when Toecutter starts yelling "Cundalini, put her against the post..." etc. I can see Zanetti's mouth moving like he's still talking to Toecutter.
Anyone else notice this? Should he be doing that?

Why fill a tanker full of sand?
I know it visually helped the story line during the chase sequence but surely in a refinery it would be more useful for it to be used to store liquids? And as Max was a last minute choice to drive the tanker, filling the tanker with sand would slow down the rig for Papperallo?
Also, I'm surprised the raped woman was executed immediately. Surely she would have be kept as a slave? Most of the others were kept alive?
The buggy vehicle would also be full of gas but Wez's gang did'nt seem to steal the juice?

Truck Radiator: Solder does a darned fine job of sealing a radiator.
Just close off the damaged tubes.
Sand: Filled it up with sand to make it look and handle like it was full of Gas.
I also think there was a bit of INSULT intened there as well.

I suppose they would have used something like solder. Good point.
As for the sand thing, I think the reason that papagallos mate was so against him driving the tanker was because he knew that it was the decoy.

Redd4: If you have the DVD copy of MM pause it when Cundalini's hand is present and look up. You'll see someone's hand holding the chain.

Thanks Hare, I'll have a look. Maybe a bit of continuity problem with the editing, taken from when (The Dark One? Ziggy?) is holding it at May Swayze's farm. (gonna have to learn the proper spelling of her name one of these days)
