We had many discussions about the best scenes of the Mad Max movies.

Now let's start a thread about the worst !

Which clearly garbage, which scene fills you heart with shame.Image The little or large details that you want to ignore, because you're a die-hard fan. These works of Art can be bloopers, continuity errors, cheap effects, bad acting, kitsch, etc ...Image

Caution! This thread should not be a new bloopers only thread, like what we had several times before, here, but definitely a topic about weak points.
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

i just hate the speed up in mad max 2, when max leaves the camp at night. I usualy try to ignore that. And when you can see the wire on bubba's back when he's falling of the bike. Oh and the most annoying would be when max get's shot in the right leg, but then somehow the injury is to his left leg Image.

How about seeing Miller, hunched down and hiding in the Mack while the scene is being shot? I'm sure the first thing taught in directors school is ...non-characters are not to seen in filmed scenes.

http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001 Or how about Toecutter's gang being able to immediately have fuel spewing from the transparent hose as soon as it touched fuel stored inside the tanker driven by the unwitting driver?? Can you imagin how hard it would be to siphon petrol while hanging onto a moving rig?

Road Warrior, check out the scene again when max is shot in the leg, it's his left, he is filmed from the rear crossing the road but filmed from the front when shot.

Ankle, i believe it's Dennis Williams in the mack.

Road and Adrian: don't both of Max's legs take some kind of hit with the gunshot? For some reason, I believe I've seen injuries on both legs, in stills from the movie or somewhere. Maybe the blood on the right leg is just overspray from the left? Or am I just delusional? I've checked during the movie, and I can't tell. About the wounds, I mean, not whether I'm delusional or not...

I hate the part in MM1 when they use a speed-up on Toecutter looking back at Max about to catch up to him. And in MM2, when Wez pins Nathan to the buggy; I don't think Wez's bolts are long enough to penetrate a man's body, pinning him to something behind, and still protrude from said man's chest. Or is this one of the "Rapist Mohawk's" arrows from the crossbow? (Or should we call him the "Boltcutter Mohawk"?Image)

Ah yes, now I remember, you are correct. Dennis Williams was there because Mel couldn't change the Mack gears with enough precision to get the rig up to speed quickly.

Academy Award for cheezy special effects goes to the scene where Johnny the Boy sets Goose on fire. Worst Flame Job Ever !! or maybee the visible steel cable ( wire rope ) that pulls the Nightrider's Holden Monaro backwards into the wreck and the explosion happens before the car hits. What really gets me is when Max returns to the Mack Coolpower.. " Mad Mac"..days later and there is still enough ( Psi and volume ) air in the trucks storage tanks to turn over the pneumatic starter, NOT just one but twice. I have NEVER seen a Semi that didn't bleed air from the system overnight.

MM1: keeping cutting back to the black bird. Corny.

MM2: I agree with Road Warrior - the sped-up stuff just irks me.

MM3: they're 'doing the tell' to Max for the first time in the canyon. I can't stand the way the kids make the sound effects and decide to put on a bit of street theatre. It's so staged and corny. Vomit. Puke.
