new charger in need of spray!

Post by SAM B R.W »

hey guys,

Juts purchased a 75 Valiant Charger (will post pix soon), but in desperate need of a spray job with the budget being around $1500 give or take. I understand there are some cheapys around springy and dandenong that do two-pack sprays for around $2000-2500. Does anyone on here know anyone that does spray jobs? Dont mind if its a backyard one.

Sam I would keep saving money mate!

A $2000 paint job is just a waste of time, it will be a rub back and slap 2 coats on if your lucky.
It wont last 12months.

Save your money until the budget is a bit bigger.

sounds like a few cases of rattle can (wal mart or whatever big box store might be in your neck of the woods) is your best bet

a respray will cost 4-8k. Those 2k jobs look like shit. I've seen cars ruined by them.
If you are short on cash, and want to do it yourself to save cash, google: painting car with roller. Some people have been getting decent results for $50 and a lot of elbow grease and 4 weekends of work.
