Just to be fair to it, I'll probably give it another viewing now that I know what to expect (or NOT to expect) of it. I do recommending giving it a watch and judging for yourself.

Finally saw Bellflower
So I watched Bellflower over the weekend, and while I liked it, I didn't think it was great. Part of the reason was probably because reviews I'd read had led me to believe there was more of a connection to the Mad Max films than there actually was in the movie. Add to that the fact that I couldn't really relate to any of the characters or care about what happens to them, and it all added up to a bit of a disappointment. Acting was naturalitic and very good, however, as was the photography. Director Evan Glodell, who also stars in it, shot it on a shoe string budget with homemade cameras and the result looks quite impressive.
