Is there a market for handcrafted Mad Max badges?

A friend of mine is in her second semester of metal working classes at the local college, and the stuff she makes is amazing. I suggested to her earlier today that she might be able to make a little money if she were to user her skills to make replicas of the badges worn by the MFP. I see that Abbyshot already has such a product, and for it to be worth her while, she'd have to charge a lot more than what Abbyshot charges.
The only way I could see this making sense from a buyer's standpoint is if her badges were really high quality. Do you think anybody would want them if they cost $200 each? I know nothing about the replica badges already out there, but I figure maybe there might be a small demand if hers were made using the best metals and were one-of-a-kind.
Then again, maybe not. I'm just tossing ideas around at this point.
