MM2 - Another Flub

Post by PursuitSpecial »

Noticed this one the other night and didn't see it listed on Peter's page.

While watching a bunch of vehicles leave the compound from one side of the hill, Max has to get up and go around to the backside of the hill he's on to follow one of them. That vehicle is overtaken and when that is over he uses the telescope to look around, with one look being to the side which shows him looking back at the compound. But he would have to walk back across to the other side of the hill to be able to see the compound again!

Second one I thought was interesting was how Pappagallo says they've only got 12 hours to work on the truck before they're leaving, but it seems like it's a lot longer than this before they actually do leave. They work on the truck that night then for maybe 12 hours. Max has to leave himself in the morning, which should have been about the same time they all left in the truck, but they didn't end up leaving until maybe another 12 hours after that, after Max crashes, gets brought back and gets rested up a bit.

Come on, you know mechanics always take longer than they estimate! ;)

I'll throw another one out: After the tanker leaves the compound, a couple of bikers and a buggy stop and look back to see the convoy leaving. They turn around and head for the compound...but the bikes and buggy that enter the compound aren't the same ones that turned around.

Another one......when max rams the landau a mega second before the contact shows the already damaged front end 'B' Interceptor and then a mega second later shows the collision....

I noticed that when the marauders are leaving after Humungus' speech, the woman tied to the black truck is straightening her outfit.

There are also tons of continuity errors during the rig delivery scene, particularly with the red XA. It appears parked in 3 completely different segments (different locations) of the chase when it would have otherwise been taking part. This also occurs with a few other cars like the ZG fairlane.

I was watching MM2 last night, and i noticed 2 things, the Landua has both sets of duallies on for the opeing chase, and has the tyre on the boot, it has them on when max rams it, but when it hits the buggie and wrecks, there is only one tyre on the passenger side. Maybe the removed to make the roll stunt, who knows. Another thing i noticed by still frames is when Max rams the landua and we see the front smashed to pieces, the film looks reversed, i say this becase the one side peice of the Monza front end that we all know is on the drivers side, shows to be on the passenger side after the ramming.
