Post by gOOse! »

There is a hardcore-techno lable called thunderdome.

I always wondered the name is a mm3 rip off. View the

first video at the page i have made a link and have some proof. you will hear sounds from mm3 a couple of times.

Yeah ive seen this happen before and if they dont have rights to use the name as it is directly related to the film by their use of the sound tracks form the actuall firm, then they could be facing copyright infringement, if who ever owns the rights to the film, hasnt given the band permission. There probably would be a lesser charge of defamation. Which means the use of catch phrases, etc with or without express permission has caused a decrease in interest for defamed party.

One great case similar to this was the metal band Green Jelly, they were called Green Jello and Jello took the band to court and made them pay a bunch of money and change their name. Well, you never heard of the band a couple of years after that.

I think that all it boils down too, is come up with some original ideas people. And stop using the fame already cast on a great series of movies MM1, MM2, MM3.

For all you know they might have licensed the use of those parts from MM3. Besides, I think that music is fucking great! I think I like it!
