When you listen closely to the underground mechanic, he says Nitro. Is it this way in the *un-dubbed* version.

He says "Sucks Nitro", but stutters a bit on the first word making it hard to understand. This is the dubbed version I speak of. I'd like to know the missing word where he says "The meanest_____ of music and the bitch was born to run." We all know a 351C 4V was used in the original car, but in the fictional world of Mad Max, which Ford engine do you think they would've used? My vote is for THE CAMMER. One can still find them for a measly $20,000 U.S. - just the engine that is.
Its got 615 horsepower with a unique cam arrangement as close to what Barry the mechanic described. That's normally aspirated horsepower. A BOSS 429 would be cool as well, but my vote is for THE CAMMER as the Ford engine of choice for the Interceptor - blown of course for even more horsepower...
See a 427 SOHC "CAMMER" at the following link:

I can't make it out, Goose says look at the blower man right as the mechanic says says meanest. It sounds kind of like meanest kind of music, but I can't really say. As for the engine, Barry says it has duel overhead cams 600hp, so your choice sounds pretty good to me mate.

That part sounds to me like "she's mean and set to music and..."
Anyway, seducing me with this kind of candy would have to be more than a 351c as well. I lean more toward the 428 or 429 boss, though a chevy 454 from that era would sound really fast.
