Boots on ebay

Post by tk4013 »

I saw these on ebay when the bid was at like $12 and thought "Hey those would make some pretty good MM boots!". So I kept my eye on them, and guess what? They sold for close to $500, WTF is so special about these boot! My gawd man! Anyway, needless to say I didn't buy them :?

I guess there are people out there that are willing to pay a lot for certain vintage motorcycle boots. Probably wasn't a mad max fan since those are not accurate boots, but they do look kinda cool and would have been okay for cheap MM boots if they were say, $450 less.
You think if the seller knew they'd sell for so much money they would have cleaned them up a bit? But maybe that was part of their appeal.

I guess if somebody has a beat up pair of old engineer boots, now is the time to get them on ebay.

Yeah I liked them cause they were tall, but not too tall, and nice and worn. Oh well :?
