That was fantastic to this interview with the original actors.
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Something that Steve Bisley said in the interview made me think about another scene in the movie.
In his interview Steve says that Mel had his... er.... dick hanging out while he was delivering his line "I dunno man I just got here meself" after he slides and hits the ute, which is why he sorta laughs during it.
Now we know the garage scene was filmed first and that we can definately see Steve pulling a funny face just as Mel says "When do we go for a ride".....
Could Mels antics later be revenge in order to try and make Steve stuff his line up?
