OMG MM4 chase sequence filmed tonight in Melbourne's West!!!

jeez guys couldn't get back to the computer quick enough...was driving home from my work in geelong (as i do every week night) and took the old melbourne road shortcut through to the princes hwy (despite there being 'road closed' signs i decided to take a punt anyway. couldn't believe my eyes as on the disused road (parallel to old melbourne road) i noticed two huge semi trailers,about 200m apart, one laden with lighting rigs (one guy on top in a harness with a tracking spotlight) both travelling around 130 km/h and the other with 3 large cameras attached in various positions. in between the trucks there was the MM2 black-on-black in all it's glory...with two rear tanks in the boot and dusty...also broken front panels!!! god i nearly lost control when i then saw a second black-on-black in MM1 fitout, perfectly fresh and clean coming up hard in the next lane (around 170kmh+) and still accelerating!!! i accelerated to keep up...the roads began to merge and i was about 50m away now...the pilot vehicle (bmw x5) ahead of the first semi had now spotted me and the guy harnessed to the rear mounted seat (clipboard in hand, facing backwards to see all the action) began to wave me down furiously, as if to say get the hell away. at this point i noticed him radio other support vehicles which promptly veered off the disused road in a V formation and began to close in on me. i accelerated hard and pulled away but the lead vehicle was keeping ground...i looked acrossto the pilot vehicle and could have sworn in was dr george himself! at this point we were metres away from the convergence of the roads so it was do or die...i slammed the brakes and veered of into the dust...as i looked over my shoulder at the last second i noticd the pilot vehicle was carrying 3 men, one of whom looked like patrick stewart. the lead chase vehicle that was closing fast on me overshot as i spun out onto the dirt embankment...i floored it and headed back the other way, now on the same road as the semi's and interceptors that were heading my way mighty fast! as we flew past each other in opposite directions (god the ground shook with the two blown 351's going at full tilt) i noticed a stunt driver in a helmet was driving but in the back seat of the MM1 interceptor was mel gibson himself,holding onto the roll cage with one hand and laughing and talking on the CB with the other...prob talking to dr george. thats when the black heliciopter swooped down (on full pulse power i presume from the sharp angle of approach) and i figuerd i should get the hell out of there ... will go back tomorrow night to see if they are still filming... will take a camera this time. wow still cant believe it and pls accept my apologies for the poor spelling...im just still so excited from what i witnessed.

You know if you had ANY BRAINS what so ever you would've written a different story out.
For someone to keep this same story on their hard drive and then reprint it on the same forum a few years later is pretty sad don't you think????

For those newer members out there, this "story" was written on here about 3 or so years ago by a brand new member.
Seemingly re-written by yet anyother brand new member.... exact same story.

Last night I was driving home (Geelong) from Melbourne (2.30 am) heading out through Melbourne's inner west and noticed that a main road was blocked and there were 'Wrong Way...Go Back' signs up. There were plastic barricades up too.I had a funny feeling that something interesting was going on and decided to have a look...

not even 1/2 way through, I realized it was a complete crock.... guy's trying to make himself sound like the hero in some kind of action movie, when in reality if this did really happen , they'd just get your plate # & call the cops on you ass or something. Then I realized I'd read it almost word for word before... stupid people:roll:

why would Mel be in the back seat when we all know he turned down the role as max, & won't even be making a cameo, if he wanted to ride in an interceptor replica, he has the money to build one himself, if not there are plenty of peopl out there who would jump at the chance to let him drive theirs.
