CLEAVAGE FOR THE POWERS OF GOOD!!!

Some of you might know of my friend Belle Chere from DragonCon; she walked in the parade with us as one of The Warriors of the Wasteland. She’s a big costume designer/wearer, a fan of the Mad Max movies, a great friend, and pretty damn hot, too. I just checked her MySpace and she's entered this contest, 'Carats for Cleavage'. You post a picture of your cleavage (duh) and people vote for who they like best. The winner gets a diamond. But get this, she's going to sell the diamond; half of it goes to Breast Cancer research and the rest she's using for more costume stuff. Using the power of boobies for good!

I thought this was the coolest thing I've read in a long time!

I like to think that if I had superpowers I'd use them mostly for good. Not ALWAYS good, cause that would get boring quickly, but mostly for good. Since I don't foresee myself entering any experimental medical testing facilities anytime soon, I've gotta use what I've been given: boobies.

But I need your help. 'Help with your cleavage?' you say? Y'see, a local radio station (100.3 WHEB) is running a contest called 'Carats for Cleavage'. Randomly, they're giving out a 1 carat diamond to the gal with the best cleavage in the area. Whoever gets the most votes moves on.

Now, I'm not a gal who has ever owned a piece of jewelry more expensive than silver or white gold. But that's not why I'm doing this! I don't WANT the diamond to keep all for myself (okay, well, maybe to oogle for a /day or two/).

I want to win the diamond so I can sell the diamond. Half of the money would go to the ACS for Breast Cancer. While I don't have breast cancer *knocks on wood*, and I haven't personally known anyone who has *knocks on wood*, I know the power of the bosom. Other than the hips, the breasts are the most visual aspect of the body that defines a woman. The strength of a woman who, willingly or not, undergoes a mastectomy is admirable, though it's a regretable admiration. I'd much rather see a far higher percentage of women allowed to keep their breasts by the end of my lifetime!

So, cleavage for the powers of good! I'll admit, the other half of the diamond money would go towards more cleavage-enhancing costumes. See? I'm mostly good.
