Hey guys. The dibs thing is a bit immature i know but i wanted to mention that there are two sets of football pads on ebay that karol and i plan on buying inthe next few days and we didnt want to end up bidding against other mad max fans at the last minute.
If you really really want the pads send me a pm and we can discuss it. The whole point in us buying these though is so that we can put tohether molds and patterns so that we can start offering very accurate shoulder pads made just for mad max fans at a low price.

I was planning on making the plates in resin.
If for whatever reason that doesn't work out, we will try vacuum-forming. Vacuum forming will be a little harder since we would have to cut them out neatly and cut out the slots with some precision, not to mention add rivets.

There will probably be two options. One will be just the actual shoulder plate, for those that have a shoulder pad attached to a jacket already and just need an accurate plate, and the second would be a full shoulder pad and plate assembly, ready to attach to a jacket (or one that Karol could attach to your jacket for you).

That's the plan right now anyway. More in a little while as this starts to come together (and it will help if we win the auctions first).

it just keeps getting better and better,When I joined this forum no one made a holster for the shotgun and it was next to impossible to find the tools on max's belt and now we can get the holster,the tools,the knife and now we might be able to get the correct shoulder pads and plate! LIFE IS GOOD.

Happy to do it guys.
As an update, I've had a place make a special boot sheath for the gerber knife. The prototype is finished and I'm waiting for it to be sent to me so that I can dye and weather it. A completed one will probably only cost around $20. And it will have a special wide front leather flap that makes it easy to attach inside any boot. I'll post a thread about it when it's ready to order (probably within a week or so)

Also, I finally have the prototype of the spanner/wrench leather pouch ready. So now people can order the wrench with pouch as a complete set. Probably in the $45 range fully painted with weathered pouch. I'll be posting about these in their own threads once Karol and I have them ready.
