just wondering if anyone on the board goes to the street machine summernats. just got my tickets today, bit far to take my falcon though!

I am thinking of putting in an entry for my Big Bopper and seeing if they accept it.

i go EVERY year. last year a mate entered a car, and won a prize - pretty cool. we spent some time cruising around which was fun except after about 4pm when the morons reach their fill of grog and start hammering on the cars as they cruise past.
security ? not so interested in stopping that, but dont dare try to do a burn out...
but it is an absolute blast.
i find some of the trade stalls disappointing, but i did pick up two mad max posters (of the interceptor) for about ten bucks.

No one is hammering on my car, so you've pretty much turned me off going unless Chic Henry is gonna insure cars agaist that.
