Everytime i watch MM2 it always makes me wonder if the shrunken head/dolls head that is mounted upside down to the dashboard on the passenger side has any "hidden significance" or it is just the prop dresser having fun to make us all wonder if there is any "hidden significance"? Max being a psychologically complex individual, if i have to psychoanalyze the 'head" it could represent an insane world turned upside down that has literally... lost its head! Pulling at strings i know, but i do not know what else to think of it, except it looks cool mounted to the dashboard!
