Re: show your costume!
Not to mention MM1 MFP gear, let's see those too.
Great idea for a thread. Let's get a bunch of fan costume pics all in one place. I'll start us off.
Here's my Road Warrior outfit from a couple years ago. I'm currently selling it on eBay in order to create my version 2.0 which will be much more accurate (and expensive). These pics have been seen in another thread but here they are again. (pics of my MFP outfit coming soon, just working on holsters)

(pics are large, click on each photo if the whole picture doesn't show up)

Really cool. Any Thunderdome's out there?
Re: show your costume!
I'm working on my marauder costume. Just won shoulder pads and a catcher's mask on eBay; I'll post pix when I get it together. I had started this pseudo-samurai armor deal out of rubber mud flaps off semi-truck trailers, but chucked that idea. Maybe I'll finish it later.

This is my MM2 taken at Dragon*Con last year and a parade. I still need boots and I want to remove the little flap pocket on the jacket.

Re: show your costume!
I and some friends made a number of costumes this year for a fun event we all attended. It took us just under 3 months to get this lot together. We own and run a number of ex military vehicles and we wanted to do something different at this years War and Peace show. So this year we choose Mad Max 2.
We have 2 ex military former SAS Light Strike vehicles that look very similar to the dune buggies from the film. These were the core vehicles with a number of off road motorcycles used as well. These were all shown at the show and then used by us to drive around and have some fun. We also went into the beer tent in costume afterwards.
We had such a great reception and everyone loved Mad Max and the costumes and vehicles. Here are a few pictures. I will try and post some more info as well if anyone is interested?

Here are few more pics. I made the arm mounted Xbows working, they could shoot a plastic bolt about 50 feet - enough to have some fun with. Had some fun with a boomerang as well. There are a few picturs appearing on youtube now of us playing on the Thursday and Saturday evening and nights at the show.
