I'm not really sure if it would have helped you being half a world apart, but I just sold a running 1970 steel crank 440 and 727 4 months ago and I had a tough time finding a buyer for it. I sold everything for $500. I still have a '60's-vintage Offenhauser dual quad intake with 2 Holley 600cfm vacuum secondaries for a 440. I'll take $400 for it if you're interested. Can't be too many set-ups like it floating around Oz.

Are you looking for just core/rebuilders or good runners ?
I'm going to be loading containers again in a couple weeks and can keep an eye out for some to send over. You'd just have to pick them up from my mate's shop in Lilydale...not too far from Dandy..
