I few weeks ago I watched a MM ripoff. Acting was a waste but the production value was...good?
for a straight to video movie this had better action than the theatrical stuff in the 90's. Awsome vehicles with some jaw dropping stunts. Buildings explode,cars & trucks fly through to the air and roll over. Just watch it for the pure action.

What film was it? Or did you say and I am blind?

I saw a MM2 rip off last week.
Its called: DOOMSDAY.

Its a 2008 release that went straight to Dvd. The plaigarism was so bad, that the final scene looked like it was copied straight from the MM2 script.
Let me count the similarities:

- Bad guy in leathers and mohawk (Wez ?)
- Cars are all heavily chopped up and welded together.
- Good guys trying to escape in a black car.
- Open desert highway with marauders chasing them.
- Bad guys leaping onto other vehicles
- Bad guy dies when rammed head on by another vehicle

It was a watchable film even if it jumped genre's a lot. Starts out as 28 days later, switches to Aliens, then to Escape from new york, then to King arthur and ends on Mad Max 2. Go figure. Lead actress (Rhona Mitra - Underworld 3) is hot which makes it very watchable.

Best MM plot rip off is.... Eye of the tiger 1986 (Gary busey)

Doomsday was awsome. I saw it in theaters. Calling it a ripoff is like comparing it to Land Of The Doom or Stryker.

What I have learnt from MM and all MM ripoff dystopian future world movies.

1. Protect the fuel.
2. make black leather clothing - i will have many customers.

Actually in EXTERMINATORS OF THE YEAR 3000 its all about water. funny thing is as soon as the heroes come across any they fuckin' jump around in it fully clothed and yell 'hurrraaah' meanwhile getting the water all dirty, shitty and undrinkable.
