People come here to trade, do a little business. If you've got nothing to trade you've got no business in Bartertown. (Buy / Sell / Swap / etc)

For Sale - Mad Max style leather pants, no back pockets

Post by Max Replica »

You may have seen that I posted about this in the costumes section. I have a pair of leather pants, brand new from southbeach leather. These are the hard to find jean cut with no back pockets style pants like max and the MFP wear in film one (and film two). They are in size 34 and they're too big for me so I'm going to order another pair. Email me if you're interested and I'll get you some photos. The inseam on them is very long and the bottoms are unfinished so that you can cut them to length.

The pants are very accurate. The only trick with southbeach leather is getting something that really fits right. I've found that I have to take items for alterations after I buy them. But I save so much money with Southbeach that I don't mind this small extra expense.

I'll try and post some pictures soon.
But I'll post them in the costume and props section since this is the for sale section and I'm no longer selling these.

I wear a size 34-36 depending on the pants. Do the south Beach pants run big or small? You mention them being too big, do you wear a 34 normally?

Well, one pair I bought seemed like it ran a little small, the second pair I bought was about the right size (but I had ordered bigger thinking it might be too tight).

I'd say my best advice is to order what you think your exact correct size is and hope for the best. Maybe they'd even make a size 35 for you. Good luck.
Oh, and be sure to specify whether you want front pockets only (like in the second movie) or no pockets at all (like in the first movie).

P.S. Both pairs of pants I got were too big in the thighs but my legs are a little skinny so you may not have that problem.

Thanks for the reply! I get cold feet ordering clothing online, so the info has helped me.
