Hey Mad Max fans.....in all honesty,when was the last time you watched Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome from start to finish??

There's a third movie ???

Yup, lots of it is silly.

My Zap forward rating:

MM2: none
MM1: some (soppy scenes on holiday, sofa when telly is running etc)
MM3: most

Don`t get me wrong though, MM1 is the real Max.

Watched Much of it over breakfast last Tuesday.

Would have watched all, but I only had an hour & I wanted to look for the Jacket in the closing scene.

Honestly, I fast-wind or scene jump more in MM1.
(Sorry, but most of Max's Holiday is.. to put it politely, Brain searingly DULL)

Well.. er.. um... lets see.... I think the only time i watched it from start to finish was the FIRST time i saw it. Which was at the cinemas when it first came out.

Can't say i ever watched the full movie since..... fast forward through the annoying kids...
As a stand alone movie its ok... but as a "part 3" to madmax ... its truely ... awful.

my kids dig it, but hey they're all under twelve, whadda they know, so i catch it in installments every 2 or 3 months when they stick it on.

The end scene is the only part I dig. I shut the dvd off right before Savannah starts flapping her damned gums about tomurrow murrow lend

Cheers for the input guys....was mostly a bit of fun but at the same time it was to see if anybody,like me,feels a certain sense of obligation to watch MM3 out of loyalty or something,even though it doesnt come close the 1st two films.

As for me, I like very much "Mad Max beyond Thunderdome". It is a great adventure movie. Otherwise, it would be interesting to know what Peter Barton thinks about it.

For me it is several years ago that I watched one of the three movies completely. I just watch the good parts like the most of us.
MM3 is a good stand alone movie. But as a Mad Max movie it is a complete failure. It totaly misses the "Mad". They took the rough max caracter and turned it in a nice sympathetic caracter. That was the biggest mistake.
