Goose Bike update
Goose Bike update
Hello guys. I have a few pics for the goose project update. The molds came out good and the first pieces to come out are also in good shape. The major difference in the front upper is the reduced nose length. I think from the side it looks much better and much more accurate. The picture of the "dash" is showing more than is on the original. I wanted to be able to put a radio in the bike and have it look sort of factory I guess. I also wanted a place to mount my GPS unit. A guy could just trim out the big part of the dash and it would look just like the original. One of the best places to see the dash is when Bubba and Toecutter are getting ready to kill max, TC says, "quit toying bubba". The scene shows both bikes with the dash showing fairly well.

thats lookin' pretty good there Dan - nice work.
Here are a couple of pictures which may help with your job ?
The first ones are a mates bike, Z1000A1 from back in 1980-ish. This thing was *the ducks guts* in its day !! Its wearing an original Mk 1 La Parissienne upper fairing....
Side shot

Front shot

Here are a couple more photos, close-ups of the Mk 1 fairing I have. The lower fairing is from a later Mk III version of the La Pas fairing - it has that small lower section that sits out in the breeze, where the MM bikes have a nice flat section right under the header pipe bend...

cheers
