Free car in Richmond Melbourne

Post by revline »

Well it looks like I won't make it back to oz in time. The Rego QLD runs out in Early May from memory. I nigh on had it sold to another backpacker yet the blasted door locks are all shot and the guy apparently closed the door and the blasted central locking system kicked in. I was in Japan at the time and my bro' couldn't get the door open. All the paperwork is there and the key I find, can open the door if you push it in just as far as the jagged edge and just force turn it. I'll explain more to whomever wants it.

It's a 92' holden commode with a pretty good v6 donk. The tranny is a bit rough but ain't bad for a free rig. I placed new tyres all round and it got me from Perth south along the coast and all the way over. Its parked outside an apartment block on Burnley st Richmond within sight of the street if ya wanna check it out. If anyone's keen I'll let my bro know.

Your mission my MFP compatriots if you shall accept it.

Get the door of that rig open, drive it away and do whatever the hell ya want with it. This would save me the trouble of having to handle it from here.

Hey I'm serious here. I would cost me a bundle to have it towed away. My bro' is just hopeless mechanically. All the rig would need is a working door lock and it could be advertised at a local backpackers. I just didn't have time to fix it yet had a lot of interested buyers.

Any of you in Melbourne?

I'm asking the MFP for some help here.

Yeah I called my bro and he said he got the door open. Guess he 'forgot' to mention that. Plus the fact that he drove it around for a month before getting his own rig. hehe.

I told him I'm cool with that. THough the Thought did flash in my head as to the money I could have gotten if I sold it to a backpacker having that knowledge. As they say, ya can't chose ya family!

Oh I remember ya have to bash the rear door down pretty hard to get it to catch correctly.

But wait there's more! A free set of steak knives

Or atleast some fishing knives, a tent with a bung zipper......maybe some pots and pans.

Sure do wish I kept that Aerogard though.
