Pat's New Car

Post by cob115 »

Hello people

I'm a relative newie to this site, I have a few coupes and one was to be a interceptor, but a friend told me about this one for sale in America, it was Rod Horner's old car which has an intresting history.

I had to sell my soul to the devil to afford it but i reckon its worth it, i was fortunate to do a bit of business over there with work so that helped too.

Thanks to the people who have helped with advice and for the sellers hospiltality I've got to say the yanks are great people and the food is fantastic!!!!

Me and my son ate our way around the place. I hope you like the pics.

Cheers oh and because im not building my other one I've got some bits for sale.

Also note the flag is our travelling companion, later this year its going to Gallipoli and Europe.

Cheers Pat COB115

How much are we talkin' to ship something like that back to AU? The customs paperwork must be oppressive.

Looks like a great time. Your son certainly looks like he enjoyed himself. It's great you took him along.

Cheaper actually to ship it to Oz from here then visa-versa...plus no duty to pay on it either (since it's an Australian orgin vehicle) :D
