Are there any .wav files of Max talking in the original version? I am really curious to hear what he sounds like.
Oh yah, and what does Fifi really sound like?

What does Max sound like? Presumably then, you've only seen the US version, where he has kind of a generic quality voive. As to what he really sounded like, that's easy, Mel Gibson! Seen any of Mel's other movies? That's what he sounds like. As for Fifi, his actual voice is much different, much less gruff, same with Toe Cutter, and Night Rider. I thought the voice actor who dubbed TC had a really cool voice.

Actually, compaired to Gibsons other films, he sounds different - rather young.

I guess that would make sense, in that he was much younger then. Also, in most of his American films, his Aussie accent is played down.

For Max's real voice, watch Attack Force Z with Mel G.
Fifi was in Quigly Down Under if you have seen that.
