Holley, Inc Kills Weiand

Post by Steve Pilant »

I'd heard a while back that Holley had acquired Weiand, but was a bit surpirsed that Holley has kept the weiand.com web address going with only Holley items. If one goes to the weiand.com web page, one can see some bit of BS by the Holley CEO Jeff King on how they aren't doing the typical megamerger, but their actions dictate otherwise. If Holley wants to acquite Weiand, this is perfectly legal, but why even have a weiand.com website if there are no Weiand products available and each time one clicks on something, a part with "Holley" stamped in it pops up? I even tried to use their e-mail feature to comment, but Holleys "support" e-mail address at the Weiand site is basically a file 13 shit can for all comments. Obviously, Weiand is dead now that Holley has acquired it and Holley uses the weiand.com address to promote their own logo'd products. They could have pleased many nostalgia fans by keeping the Weiand marque going with Weiand stamped products, but their ego precludes it. Here is the letter I sent them after surfing the so called "Weiand" site.

I doubt I'll be able to provide a response because I do not see one coming, but if I do get one, I will post it. When one clicks on "e-mail" at the weiand.com site, their e-mail gets sent to [email protected] which in turn dumps it right back on the sender by [email protected], unread and unseen. A test message resulted in the following bouncing back:
