1/18 diecast BoB coming in Nov

Post by XA351GT »

Well boys warm up those Credit Cards The Road Warrior is coming. Autoart item # 72745. Looks pretty good and if this sells as well as it should I would expect the Mad Max version about the same time next year. These are based on Biante's XB so if this sells and the next one(if it comes )sells maybe tere will be March Hares ,Big Boppers ,yellow Max Interceptors and hopefully Night Rider Monaros.

I have seen the prices anywhere from $112.ooUS to $200.ooUS now. Depending on final price, the $130.ooUS pre-release "guesstimate" price might include shipping within the United States. International orders will be slightly more. I still have one, possibly two available if anyones interested. Brad will give me a definite price once his order is confirmed.

If you guys want to send the money within, say, the next two to three weeks, or whenever the next good payday is, that's fine. For Paypal, it's my e-mail address bronze21mfp(at)hotmail.com. For printed US check or money order (domestic and International), send me an e-mail and we'll talk.

I'm not out to make anything off of these. I just want us fans to have them. So, if it's less after shipping costs, I'll refund the extra...do we have a deal?

I'll have to get boxes and tape as they come without shipping boxes like Franklin Mint stuff does, but I'll throw in the guzzoline for the post office trip as a bonus. Too bad I can't roll up in the ultimate "postal" machine to drop these off..haha.

The $112.95 price that everyone keeps pushing around is a non-set, pre-order price which won't be set in stone until it's actually released and sitting on the shelf. Some of these guys that are selling them at a low price and throwing in "free" shipping, are probably going to get burnt if they're not a business or set up to absorb some losses once in a while. The price originally was set at $65.ooUS then jumped within a week to $95.ooUS and now the "magic" number is $112.95 from a couple of sites, but could jump (again) as the models are shipped to approximately $120.ooUS to the $130.ooUS range. HLJ.com is priced at $128.ooUS now, pre-shipping which will be almost $30.ooUS if shipped EMS. NOBODY on the consumer side knows the final price right now. I'm not a business, so it's AT-COST. Granted the box and shipping will run a few dollars, but the guys will have the model. As said before, if it's less, I'll refund the rest.
