I have a screen capture pic as my wallpaper here at work, and the other day, I noticed a few new(?) things on the car. The pic is when Max is just rolling up to the Gyrocopter and it's the front 3/4 view from the drivers side. I know there were two cars used for filming. I think this is the same one used for the opening chase scene as the dirt on the bonnet in front of the blower looks the same. Anyway, the right twist-lock pin is missing, the wipers are missing (also seen in the close-up in the same scene), and of major note, the right-side flute is almost ready to fall off...it's only hanging on by the first pins, with the back sticking out past the fender flare...possibly due to the impact? I also noticed during the opening chase scene, that there is a right rear reflector on the car, but the previously mentioned left side is missing. Also, it looks like Max just got some new rubber on the front tires, as you can see the brand new treads as he's going back to get the knife. Also, look at all of the finger/hand prints along the leading edge of the bonnet and along the top of the guards (so Adrians car was more movie accurate after Sandown).
Has anyone else seen these details?

I always noticed the "appearing" and "disappearing" wipers for the entire gyrocopter scene as the camera shot changes from inside the car to the outside. When he first drives into the scene you see that the wipers are missing, then in the first shot through the windscreen you see the wipers are in place, and this goes back and forth several times. It annoys me. The person in charge of consistency is very important to me in every movie and I hate when they miss relatively obvious things like this.

I just remembered something else, just before Max rams the car that causes him to lose the nose, the nose is already gone.......yeah, in the shot just before the shot where he actually hits the car and you see him rev up the engine and close in, the nose is already broken away.

[div]Steve, that shot is also "reversed", for a lack of a better term. Look at what side the blower pulley is on and when the Interceptor rams the Landau, the piece of the Acradipane nose that is left is on the wrong side as well. [/div]

I'll definately look for the reversed blower. I was too taken by the nose being broken before the impact.
Not sure what you mean about youtube. I'm really busy this week and I probably forgot a lot of things already.
Jay, got anything else to do? That's a lot of detail you are catching. Pretty cool.
