While reading the news online... I can across this news story.....

Although obviously murder is not funny.... one wonders what sort of "advice" this man was giving out to people... he was after all.... a counsellor who specialized in "family conflicts!"

Man kills parents over dead cat remark

An East Launceston man accused of the murder of his parents last year has pleaded guilty to the charges in Launceston Supreme Court.

Prosecutor John Ransom told the court that Stephen Alexander Harper, 44, of Abbott St, had been living in a flat behind his parents' home when he committed the crimes on August 30.

Mr Ransom said Harper, a counsellor who specialised in family conflict, had snapped when his parents laughed at him over the death of his cat, and had repeatedly hit them both over the head with an axe.

The case has been adjourned until the end of August for sentencing.

Sad things happen. Just a week ago there was news about a woman that had shot her two children, her husband, and then herself.

She was just your average happy mother, and the family had no financial problems. The world is indeed one frakked up place to be in sometimes. I just hope I never cross a crazy's path. And if somehow I do, I end up on top, and alive...
