...Shoot the tire.... or Donk..With a real gun

... Why didn't Roop reach into the back seat and pick up that deer rifle with the sniper scope on it?... He could have got off a few rounds when the Nightrider was coming up the side... 1 very well placed round through the engine block.. or the side of NR's noggin...just have to lead 'em a little..

For the same reason no one ever leaves the flipping haunted house even after they have seen blood running down the walls and the children are terrified etc etc. Good point though.

If Roop had taken out the Night Rider there would have been nothing for Max to do. Would have really changed the movie, good thing he read the script.

Then we would have seen how Roop would have dealt with the "terminal crazies!" Would have made for a short film since Roop seemed pretty pissed off from the start and wouldn't have needed much prodding to retaliate!

Just my 2 cents.

True, but Mad Roop just doesn't ring!

I wonder if Fifi would have given Roop the BoB? I suppose this gets into an alternate reality. Image

Give Roop the BoB? After seeing how Big Bopper ended up I wouldn't give him the keys to a Bongo! LOL

I always thought Charlie was a very forgiving bloke for not beating the crap out of Roop. It was all his fault Charlie copped a saucepan in the throat! I'm sure if Charlie had remained in the pilot seat like he was assigned the Bopper would be in one piece at the end of it.
