There were two dramas at the Hotel. No photos of either event.

1. Two young drunk blokes walked through the hotel knocking on doors at 12am. Sadly for them one door was open and my brother was alseep in bed. They grabbed a case of Jim Beam and screamed at him to get up, trying to provoke a fight. My brother initially htough it was teh 'boys' so he rolled over and kept sleeping. After further prodding he opened his eyes and saw the drunks walking out with the Beam. As they were large guys my brother rang me as I was a few doors down drinking with the posse. The feral kid beat us all to the guys' room and started 'negotiating' with them. In the end no one was hurt and the Beam was returned.

2. We all heard a door crash in and ran out of our room fearing our cars were in danger ( not the inteceptors) When we got out there were about 7 guys, one armed with a block of wood, were forcing their way into a room downstairs from us. They were acting on what they claimed to be an alledged sexual assualt. Although I dont know for sure what caused it I do know that the youths dropped the wood and calmed down after seeing a wall of black shirts emerge from the upstairs room. The youiths decamped with the offender and we ended up giving statements to the Police. It turns out that us, xa man and the police were all watching cops on TV at the time.

So many as yet untold stories from that weekend.....

Would hate to be in a situation where you have to give the cops a statement, and divulge your middle name - especially if it's one that causes amusement to others. ...don't worry "..(insert forum member name here)..", I'm not going to let slip that you have the middle name "Theodore".

...I didn't find that funny by the way. ....much.

Sorry Blasta ,lol, i actually forgot about that statement incident.Another twist to our weekend.I remember us waying up that female copper .And we nearly got a bourbon into her, but you went and spoilt the moment with that "Theodore" stuff.Still laughing and will for the rest of the day... Mate, I was there but was too intoxicated to notice who was wearing what! I'm pretty sure no one was in the buff though!

Mate, if I'd wanted to get into your room you know the door would have been removed from it's hinges!LoL
