He is going to be on The Tonight Show Thurs Dec 7. Send an email [url]mailto:[email protected][/url] telling them you want Jay to ask Mel about MM4. I already did.

If anybody in the area has a replica, it would be cool to be parked out there so either Mel or Jay could see the cars. You might even get some help if you were to contact NBC's LA affiliate.

And the interviewer asked him.. what? Did he enjoy doing the voice for Rocky in Chicken Run. What about Captain Smith in Pochantus. IS he still as devout a catholic as ever and what's the news on more kids.

So was the question actually asked about MM4? Or even Lethal Weapon 9?

Hey Nightwalker, I just thought I'd throw something in a little different that's all. I had a signature line but it sorta got stale.

So did anyone from Oz actually watch the program this thread's all about and listen to Melvin's interview? The relevant stuff that is, not his reformed ways and new embracing religeous tolerances.

Whell, at least I'm not the only Mad Max fan who's also a fan of Star Wars. (whell, almost everything of science fiction)

Nightwalker, there are several other sci-fi films I'd put above Star Wars on my list of fav films. It just so happens that I heard that line used in the film Twister and thought it funny they used it in that. So I adopted it. I've got a pretty wide taste in films, sat and watched the new King Kong last night, then the making of. Da-yamm that was intense!

Yep, Nante (if it's the same one I'm thinking of) is about a 2 hour drive south west from me. I live up in Normandy, about 40 miles south of the D-Day beaches. Got a map? Find Caen, follow the main road directly south till you find Conde sur Noireau, then head north west 3 miles till you see Pontecoulant. I'm there. Been here nearly 2 1/2 years now shiiiit time flies when you're having fun.

I'm sitting here looking at flooded fields at the moment and soooo glad we bought the house at the top of the valley, the original house we looked at, and considered buying, is beside a stream that is very close to overflowing. Dig out the sandbags!

So what's the news on that Melvin Gibson interview? Anyone care to share the essence of it with us foreigners?
