FYI,

It looks like the current owner of the mold, Shaggy Dog Fairings, has fallen seriously ill.

And here I was looking to get one too.

Bummer.

I hope the illness is not as serious as he fears.

Get well soon "Dog"!

Oh man, and I never got to place my order yet... Best to Shag in this troublesome time. Fairings or not, I hope he's OK.

I may call him and see if he has any already made and waiting to be sold, and if so how many.

I do hope he gets to feeling better soon. I know how illness can completely disrupt your life sometimes.

If he is agreeable, would anybody want to speak up and try to buy the mold from him?

I know a certain brit who knows a thing or two about fibreglass who is due to move here in a few weeks...

Good News!

Corey e-mail me back today to say that the fairings are available through "two wheeled wreckers" who are listed in the links of the Shaggy Dog site.

They are a Western Australia outfit, I wonder if Gordon knows them?

Anyway, there is hope!

Cheers!

Bozz,

Is Corey better now? Did he sell the moulds to 2WW?

Thanks...

Evan,

Don't know quite yet. Corey didn't elaborate on his condition, which suggests to me that he is still planning to get out of the business.

I have yet to speak with the perth boys, so when I do (in the next week or so) I will be sure to ask if they now have the moulds or just a stack of stock that Corey made for them.

How goes the progress on your Z?

Inquiring minds want to know and all...

OK boys, here's the latest in our saga of tragedy and woe.

I just got off the phone with Russell out in Perth at 2 Wheel Wreckers.

He has purchased the moulds from Corey at Shaggy Dog.

BUT (get this)

He's not currently making anything at all!

So long story short we have a punter buying the moulds to promptly sit on them and do nothing.

No fairings for us I guess.

Maybe Grant and Gordon should rock up and wave some cash in front of his face to save us.

I'd do it myself, but the drive is a bear from Adelaide so I'm told.
