My badge should arrive with in days and I've ordered a brass tag with MFP 5863 from eBay.
The blue t shirt. I realize this is a Aussie standard, what's the easiest way to get one in the states? I'll probably get a few.
Female uniform: My lady is interested and we have two ideas.
1) Patrol uniform, just like the mens uniform. (Is there a womens version of the blue t shirt?)
2) Office uniform, dispatcher etc. Something a bit more flatering, maybe a leather skirt and heels. Not sure what kind of top for this but we want to show her bountiful assets.

That's an interesting thought Chase.
Female MFP uniform.
I'd vote for the same leather pants and boots as the guys (no heels) but maybe a blue bustier top under a more snugly fit (female form friendly) leather jacket.
Anyone who wore the badge would have been a real butt kicker, regardless of gender. I have been told by my wife that men's leathers are not comfortable for her.
Comfort and protection would be paramount, but I can't help but vote for a more flattering cut of the leathers.
Just an idea...
Bloody pleasant one at that!

Bummer....
I have been searching the internet for a Bonds caplan sleave t shirt and they are proving tough to find. The one site that had them only had white, black, and navy.
Any help finding a light blue Bonds would be greatly appreciated.

The female MFP uniform sounds like a a brilliant idea!!! (wipes drool from chin)
I have to agree with Bozz, Alison, my girlfriend, finds the men's leather trousers not so comfortable as the ones designed specifically for the ladies.
Hey Chase, why not buy a white one and dye it light blue? Just a thought.

Dye- that's an idea I'll save as a last resort. I'd hate to use a Fruit of the Loom but outside of nuts like us who's gonna know the difference?
Female uniform- we a found a shirt in light blue with the caplan sleaves and a big V neckline. It shows her ample cleavage nicely
Being female she has decied that she wants to do both uniform ideas - Ms. bad @$$ Patrol officer and the sexy dispatcher (since she already has several black leather skirts). Her leather jacket has fringe so looks like she'll get another one.
It may be awhile, but I'll get a pic when I can. Till then feel free to let your imagination run wild!

Damn, great idea, Chase! I would go with women's leather pants and the standard MFP leather jacket. Boots with high heels would look cool, but I would go with a low heel for them to be functional. A light blue bustier would look GREAT under that leather jacket, or at least a low cut light blue T-shirt. Now... if we could get you to post some pics of the finished outfit...

Gchase,
Have you tried a t-shirt printing shop? They may be able to help you get the right shirt.

The proper t-shirt is an Austrailian product and not common here in the U.S. It's kinda their version of Fruit of the Loom or Hanes here in the states. The biggest diference is the 'raglan' sleave as seen in this picture from Karol Bartoszynski's http://www.madmaxcostumes.com/C1/mfp9.htm

Sure, I could get any old light blue t shirt, but I'd have the knowin' it was wrong.
I've also realized I have to re-order my MFP number badges. I got ours in gold but they're supose to be silver. DOH!

Chase,
I'm aware of the design of the sleeves. Have you tried a t-shirt printing shop?
