EVERYONE needs to go check this out, and post their feedback on this, these opportunities don't come along very often, lets not waste it! This has taken considerable amounts of time and energy on my part to get this moving and to try to get them to start a LINE of stuff from the movie....Show your support! Sick Rick

Mitch... Type in Abbyshot.com, and it's under Coming Soon (listed on left side). Click on the Max picture and there will be a box on the right, that asks for your name, e-mail and a space for your comments.

Max's jacket...update

Post by AbbyShot.com »

Hey Everyone,

We're getting closer and closer to releasing the Mad Max Jacket! We don't have an exact release date yet, but we do have some updates on our Mad Max "Coming Soon" page. We have some pictures of our prototype jacket posted, info about the shoulderpad "bells" we'll be using, plus a question for comments regarding potential fan demand for Mad Max gloves. We really do appreciate everyone's support, (you've all been really great, thanks!), and we're looking forward to the response once this product is released.

As "Sick Rick" mentioned, there have been some fan efforts directed our way encouraging us to consider an actual line of Mad Max clothing. From what we've gathered so far, there are 2 or 3 different "Max" jackets, variants worn by other characters (Goose and Fifi, for example), plus completely other jacket designs as well. (Gayboy Berserkers, etc.) Right now we're only concentrating on developing and releasing Max's jacket from the first movie. Whether or not we determine it's worth it to us to consider future Mad Max products will of course be affected by the response to this inital garment.

Please check out the coming soon page for this jacket and let us know what you think. We're eager to continue working with the fan community to make this the best Mad Max Jacket possible, in terms of screen-accuracy, usefulness to the fan community as a garment to wear, and as a costume for Mad Max events, car shows, etc. Questions, suggestions & opinions are welcome! :-)

P.S. Actual questions are best sent to us through our site than posted here. I will be checking back in this forum from time to time, but of course we'll quicker to reply if you contact us directly...

Bronze,

I'm too lazy to do all that. LOL!

I clicked the link and put in my two cents. I think it needs a couple grommets for where the badge goes so we aren't punching holes in the leather and bending pins. also hope it isn't cut too slim. The prototype looked almost youth sized. Anybody have a ballpark figure on the price yet?

Hi Mitch,

We're looking into a method for allowing people to safely attach their badges. Perhaps two buttonholes, one above the other to allow one to loop their badge through the holes? Ideas are welcome.

The coat will be available in a range of sizes and isn't tapered thinly. The size is a bit hard to tell from the pictures, I believe that the size of the prototype was somewhere between a 40 and a 44. (that's chest size) No pricing available yet, but we will announce it when known.

Boys,

I've been in correspondence with Adam from Abbyshot and using an Interceptor in photos promoting their jacket came up. Although I'd volunteer my car to help them out in an advertising effort for nothing, my car wouldn't be the best candidate as it isn't fully "movie correct" with the working blower and other small differences. If anyone with a more accurate "movie correct" Interceptor would like to send them photos of their car, Abbyshot would like to hear from you. I think it's a great idea to help promote a quality product for a company is going above and beyond to make the most accurate product for the loyal Mad Max fan.

Mark.

I think we are movie correct but they would need to photoshop as We are In OZ.

I am certainly not apposed to anyone doing anything to promote and keep alive the interest, culture, cars, and film. I would most likely need to get a few updated pictures with out all the back ground stuff, but that is easy to do. The guy would just need to out line the angles he wants etc..

Of course being in OZ I am not sure if that helps but the offer is there.
