The starting price he has on it (20K) doesn't seem totally unreasonable (comparable to paying someone to build you one from the ground up), although who knows what his reserve is. The only issue I'd have with dropping 20K on this one as it is would be that there are various issues with it if you want it movie correct (mainly the paint colours, but some of the glass work doesn't appear to be correct either, hard to tell for sure from the photos). It would probably cost you another 5K to 10K to movie correct it, even more if you had to pay someone else to do the work.
I guess personally for that money I'd rather just build one from the ground up and get it correct first go, it would cost too much to make this car how I'd like to have it from where it is now.

...Am I reading that correct? Is he runnin' a 600cfm 2 barrel holley?...why not do a dual-plane 4v with a 390-450cfm?....Are there induction laws down under?...
