100 and STUPID

..That's what the local ABC channel 13 weather guy calls it...100 and stupid..whenever the mercury reaches a point over 100 degrees.....yesterday we were at 115 , just ONE DEGREE away from setting a record for that day.. ( set back in '72 )..the temps on Lake Mead reached 126.. Death Valley was 127... RIGHT NOW ...114..but I'ts a dry convection oven-like heat with no humidity...........

From the subject heading I thought this would be a reference to age and senility. Had a hot day here too must have gotten up to 90 WITH humidity, which for me was too damn hot! I just stayed indoors laying on the cold tiled floor.

114 degrees! You're right, that is stupid. Maybe you ought to write and complain to your state governer and see what his office can do about passing a law making it illegal for tempretures to go that high. Just a thought. It worked in the UK back in 1666 after the great fire of London, the same laws still apply. Haven't had a hot day there since.

It's 82 Fahrenheit right here now, it was up to 107 on Tuesday. And people call my country the frozen north, huh?

Hey 5.7...I'm just down the street from you...according to the global neighborhood directory! I think it's something like 300 miles, eh?! Just a short commute...

"100 and STUPID": Oh good! You weren't the one seeing me breaking the 100mph barrier (again) in my PT Cruiser going down Michigan Ave by Willow Run Airport yesterday...chip tops it out at 104/6000rpm.

It would be, if it weren't on hold so I could plant some bushes in a certain 2'x4' area that I've been meaning to finish for about a year now...Oh, and paint another buddies Falcon...

A few months/years from now...you'll feel the ground resonate like an earthquake, then hear a low thunder-like rumbling, turning into a pissed, animalistic growl...and when the static tension in the air is sufficiently sufficating, you'll finally see it...a dark, demonistic vision out of your worst motoring nightmare, four brilliantly blinding white lights halo-ed by eight blue flames, a singular blue pulsar flashing in its urgency, echoed by a banshees wail, coming towards you...it's hungry mark, at the speed of fright...a vengeful wraith ready to strike down the un-roadworthy...
