Events between Mad Max & Road Warrior

What facts, stories, etc. are there concerning the time frame between Mad Max & Road Warrior? Did Max ever go back to the MFP? What resources did Max have to utilize to get the Interceptor wasteland ready, wider tires, tanks etc.? Could Lebatouch have sent Fifi into the wasteland with neighboring police agencies to retrieve the Interceptor, and in turn he could have become Lord Humungus? Also could the Landau, the chase car in the beginning of Road Warrior, be the last Interceptor sent into the wasteland to catch Max? The Landau resembles the trade mark black as that of a Pursuit Special.

That's spooky.

I'm currently writing a story, which I'm hoping one day will be published as a book. (y'never know, gotta start somewhere ain't cha?) It's set in the very same time frame you mentioned above. It's been interesting exploring the many varied "what ifs" that could be used.

I like to chase wookies on kashyyk (right spelling?) the dirty space for wookies and rebel scum. I'm sure, that my cousin Boba Fett (you know the guy from outer space...) will kill that vermin, like I've done on earth with that bronze scum ...

The story you mentioned BBB is that the story when Max has his original (MM1) car burned out and is given the long range V8 version (seen in MM2) by another MFP officer.... which was intended to explain the minor differences between the two versions of the Interceptor?

I downloaded several strories from Humvee's site as well as others from other sources ,have yet to read them all.
