What kind of music are all you guys into? I would think that most of us are into some form of Rock, being that we're into muscle cars and bikes.

I'm into metal like Iron Maiden, Metallica, WASP, Dio and so on.

I like a little something of everything, but if I had to pick one, it would be Rock. To give you an idea of the kind I mean, my favorite songs in the universe are "Walk This Way" and "Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith. Not exactly head banging...

And I don't know how many years ago, my nephew, who couldn't have been more than 14, needed someone to take him to an Iron Maiden concert, so I've seen them as well. They had a giant Eddie, with moving arms and all. The opening act was Twisted Sister. Not too bad.

Bach, Rachmaninov, Clannad, Enya, Mormon tabernacle chior ummmm I like some of Aled Jones's stuff but since his voice broke... Image

Prodigy, Bob Dylan, Chris Rea, Leftfield, ELO, Mortal Kombat soundtrack (try it it's amazing!!) Zodiac Mindwarp's Prime Mover album mostly rock 70's and 80's especially as well as some of the lighter stuff depending on my mood such as Clannad (yes seriously). I have a pretty eclectic taste, I like all sorts except Jazz.. A monkey beating on a saucepan with a spanner sounds better than jazz played well (if such a thing is possible)

I'm also opinionated Image

I have the sauce-pan monkey's last experimental jazz album - you know, the one with all the barnyard noises? - I thought it was pretty good, esp after it drove off my annoying neighbors. Heh heh. "Sauce Pan Etudes in Aluminum Part One and Two"

I like everything. I'm typically 80's new wave, but i like opera, classical, old-school rap, southern rock, breakbeats, heavy metal, euro-pop, you name it. Right now, I'm listening to Type O Negative's version of "Cinnamon Girl", one of my favorite songs.

Kuddos Kid for the Glenn Miller.

Since I am twenty years younger then my oldest brother,my parents are a bit old (81 each and both still going strong) I got to listen to quite a bit of older stuff growing up,but when I got my first AM/FM alarm clock radio (remember those old white boxy ones from the 70's?) I would be busted late at night seeking out new stations and new music.Remember 'Black Betty' by Ram Jam?That song ORIGINALLY came out in about 1978 and I thought 'WOW,this sh*t is HOT,but it didn't catch on until it was re-released about ten years later and THEN it was a hit.I have a gemini, split personality when it comes to music.I can listen to just about anything with the exception of new 'country-pop',gangsta (c)rap, and any of the newer so-called 'bands' whose singer's only vocal note is pure-anger-at-the-top-of-my-lungs,no musical content allowed.People do NOT want to be around me if I am forced to listen to angry-yelling-screaming.I find that it is safer for all concerned if I am allowed to listen to what I want, hence many MP3 players with numerous discs I have made off this here 'puter.Generally I prefer 70's,80's,90's rock, electronica, even some 30's monkey banging jazz, but I really like 80's rock songs that have been remixed, techno style and lengthened to absurd times.I have complialtions of 80's songs that are all morphed togather and are over 2 hrs long.It makes for about 11 songs on an MP3 disc.Cheers ,Bill

Primarily, i like INDUSTRIAL METAL, my all time favourite band being NINE INCH NAILS, i will never ever get sick of listening to them.

Also MINISTRY, ROB ZOMBIE, RAMMSTEIN, GODFLESH.

I also really like GARBAGE, especially their first album, and SOUNDGARDEN, L7. sh*t man, you know i like all kinds of music.

but since IRON MAIDEN were my first flavour, at age 8. they'll always be sentimental, i still dig MAIDEN, but only up to NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING.
