By submitting to terrorist action and using its result as catalyst for political unrest and usurper change .......terrorist win a small battle. If the Spaniards are right, perhaps ordinary people should submit to anyone with a political/religious agenda when they resort to terror.

The terrorists get a clear message from this action. "Blow something up, kill innocent people, incite negative change, this proves our cause is right."

I realize our forum isnt a political one, but Max fought terror . He was the one who would "Maintain Right" and not submit to the terror of Toecutter's gang or the Armalites"

Gettin' scary out there. Don't matter how many 'Tyrants' they catch , whether it be HITLER, SADAM, or even BIN LADEN one day (maybe). The cause's they stood for are still there.

Just cause you destroy a leader don't mean the follower's arn't gonna give up too.

Here in Europe, we're pretty sure now, that it was Al-Qaida or a splinter group and not the Basque separatists who had organized and executed these terror attempts.

I live in Madrid, and I can tell you that the Basque terrorists and Al-Qaida ARE THE SAME MOTHERF*CKING SH*T.

Completely agree with you Ankle, I think fighting together against terrorism is the only way.

I grew up in one of the most bombed towns in Northern Ireland, Lisburn, so I've an undertanding how you feel v8.

we've peace now, well as close to peace as I think we'll ever get ...the guns are silent.

So what happens to the terrorists in peace time? you give them jobs in your government.

Yeah Billy, you got a problem too over there with terrorism.

Peace time means arrest a group of terrorist that had plans to attack somebody. We don't give them jobs but it's true that most of them live better in jail than in the street.

Every good military strategist knows that you take your fight to the enemy, not wait as a target. this is how to deal with terrorists.

My solution to end terroism? To permanently incarcerate the entire family of a convicted terrorist, even after his death. I mean everyone in his family, parents, uncles , aunts, sisters, cousins, grandparents...anyone over the age of 18 who is a blood relative.

This action would stop at the grassroots level. There would be no more of " Lets convince nephew Johnnie to kill the westerners, heheheheheh" from old men with bad religious vendetas. Primitive ..but effective.

Over the age of 18?, as you well know ANKLE, (But being a parent i know why you'd state such a claim) unfortunately, you gotta waste most of the kids too, if they're not already trained in the 'art' of terror, they have it in their blood, and wont' be long before they are fanatically maiming people.

Actually this might sound stupid, but i gotta know, - what ever happened to SADAM?, they caught him, and all that sh*t, then that was the last i heard of it.And i'm an avid NEWS watcher and i don't remember eharing his fate, Did he got to trial or what?
