You can vote for the Interceptor or another MM car under the "other" catagory. We should blow them away with Interceptor vote. I still can't believe it wasn't on their list.

We need your expertise. With the upcoming release of the movie, Starsky & Hutch, we here at Hagerty remember that there have been many movies and television shows over the years that have featured some pretty fantastic cars--classics.

From the charming Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to the infamous muscle of Smokey and the Bandit's 1977 Pontiac Trans Am , there are certainly many "car stars" out there, and we would like to know which one is your favorite.

Please take a moment to join the fun and answer a no-strings attached survey at http://newsletter.hagerty.com/t.asp?S=2 ... cars%2Easphttp://www.hagerty.com/surveys/cinemacars.asp[/font] to submit your opinion-the results or our poll will be released nationwide to the media around the premiere of Starsky and Hutch on March 5.

Also, please consider forwarding this email on to other car enthusiasts you know-everybody's opinion counts!

Thank you very much,

McKeel Hagerty and the Hagerty Team[/div]

27 Entries for the "White on White" '71 Challenger in Vanishing Point

And 28 Entries for the Black on Black '73m XB GT

Closer than that, you AIN'T gonna GET. :)

Who wants to volunteer to count ALL of the cars in the "Other" Category and rank 'em??

My #2 vote has to go to the 73 Eleanor. No car in the history of cinema has taken so much abuse, and unlike any other movie car I can think of, she had no double. (though nearly every major component was replaced or repaired during the course of filming) not to mention the fact that she still pulls smokey burnouts and doughnuts like nobodies business. (yes folks, she's alive & well)

OK, Granted, the MM cars had no doubles either, but they weren't called on to endure the abuse that Eleanor was.

#1 is the BoB (of course) and Kowalski's VP ride gets my #3.

Now I'm off to vote for real!

Randy,

That was in the remake. The original movie used a '73 Mach 1. You would love the original. It's a much better movie that the Nick Cage movie.
