Where are the U.S. replicars?
C'mon now guys, I know the numbers of MAX fanatics in the states may be slim compared to down under, but there still has to be at least a handfull of replicas on U.S. roads. We need to see some pix !! Lets see some replica Kwakas like the Japaneese boys make.

Where are the U.S. replicars?
Uhh.... I made that site. I haven't updated is as recently as I would have liked. It is getting kind of hard to keep track of all the cars since I don't have VINs to work with, and there are so many of them. There are also a few out there that are being built that I know about but don't have a lot of info on, or any pictures on.
I've also been quite busy lately since I created the online '66/'67 Charger Registry since I have 4 fastback Chargers myself. Here are some links to that.

Thanks for posting the Mad Max replica link Ankle.

Where are the U.S. replicars?
Nice to see some of those Chargers in the restoration process.
I was darned near BORN in one of 'em.
I'll have to see if Dad will let me register his.
('66. 383 four barrel/Automatic. White with Red Interior)
If you know any sites with repro Carpets, seat upholstery etc.. Please Share.
BTW, How big a pain is the maintenance of a car registry?
I've been thinking of "Adopting" a Pierre Cardin Javelin registry...

I Asked my dad if he'd want to add his and the parts cars to the registry and he said "No".
He didn't seem to understand what a Car Registry IS.
"C'mon, Dad... it's HISTORY."
Wotta turkey.
(We got records of no less than FIVE of 'em, including my old Black & White.
Sad to see 'em orphaned by history.

Wow, that's pretty cool considering these cars are pretty rare.
Your dad probably thinks his contact information will be displayed and he will be bugged and bugged and bugged about the cars, but in fact no contact information will be shown.
I don't even have to have his name or contact info to register the cars, but that info is always nice to have. I just need a VIN and the fender tag info is also nice to have.
I currently have 3 '66 Chargers and 1 '67 Charger. You can see them here.

I usually work on the registry for an hour or less each day. There were about 50,000 of these cars made, so obviously the more whatever that were made, the more maintenance you will do on a registry of that item. I like it and think it is a lot of fun.
I'm also looking for the '67 Charger my late father used to own in the late '60's and '70's. It is a PP1 (bright red) S6W (white interior) 318 column automatic with the buddy seat. Last known to be in Spokane, WA in about 1985.
1Aauto.com is a good place for cheap factory molded carpets. Legendary Auto Interiors is a good place for seat material so you can recondition them.
Maybe you can get me the records or info or VINs that you have on your Charger and your father's Charger. What he doesn't know can't hurt him right? Especially on something as trivial as this. Here is my email.

I'll see what I can do.
The only (Intact) one we still have is the White one he's owned since 1968.
The blue, silver & red are long gone.. one (The blue, I think) has been crushed after we sold off the remaining GOOD pieces.
(Surprisingly good rear seat upholstery considering the car was stuffed full of parts for 30 years)
My B&W, we sold to some guy years ago.

Greetings. There's another one in Detroit. It's a 12/73 XB Fairmont. I've already put the wheels and tires on it and the steering wheel with a quick-disconnect and battery cutoff switch in the interior (hillbilly security), and I'm gathering all of the other parts now. This spring, I'm going to put on the 3-pc boot spoiler, and start working on the nosecone. For now, I bought a L-88 (35"x28"x3.5") cowl induction scoop to run on the non-GT bonnet while the GT/GS one gets repaired (rusty corners and Cobra scoop holes). Plans are to build a "custom" Pursuit Special (85% or so movie correct). Still planning on doing a Scarcelli...actual blown Clevo in the next year or so. It's a 250 straight 6/FMX/8" combo right now, but it's a clean car thanks to Phil Newell...just gotta change the color...Mustard Yellow...yuck. Cheers.
