The Toecutter and Mr Impala the turkey.

In the scence where Tocutter is at the train station and he hears the going ons his mates are creating in the town and rushes out, was it to calm them down?

Did they chase Mr Impala because he hit the Toecutter on his way from escaping the town or was it just for the fact that he was escaping the town with his bird?

Also, it was just plain rude to run off in a panic. If he'd hung around for a bit and buggered off when things had died down, he'd be fine. Although, his Impala DID deserve the twatting it got.

You are missing the point.

Toecutter and his gang were in mourning. TC viewed himself as sovereign. The Turkey Guy has two problems. He was disrespectful, blasting out of town was one, the other was just being present. The whimp being dragged behind the bike had the same problem. TC's gang lashed out in morning. They chose to lash at people to mentally reestablish their dominance.

Think of it like this . You are at a wake or funeral. As your dear departed loved one is being lowered into the ground the bag pipes play a salute. At the same time a carload of yahoos drive up with Rap music that drowns out the bag pipes. I'd say its ass kicking time.

What kind of guy parks his car NEXT to main street to get some in the back seat ? Don't you think he would have drove out to a nice secluded spot with shade trees and maybee a small creek so he could wash her off before & after ( lol ).

Yeah, he could have crept out of town quietly without knocking Toecutter down but it was part of the story line. Untill the Impala gets wrecked the Bronze and TC's boys were complete strangers. They wrote Nightrider's little escapade off as a day at work. Heck, Max and Goose were enjoing a country drive before they got the call. They were probably on the way to Fat Nancy's for a big fat steak.

I've always thought it was a combination of several of the above:

The gang seems to be having fun with the guy who eventually gets thrown through the window; things start to go too far with the dragging;

Turkey-boy saw that things were escalating, and wanted to get out of there;

Toecutter, who was the only one really mourning the Nightrider (with the possible exception of Bubba), heard the commotion and was coming to tell the boys to settle down, much like he signalled the guys to not hurt the stationmaster. Unfortunately Turkey-boy whacks Toecutter on the way out, and the chase is on!

We are led to believe that the toe cutters gang is a bunch off wannabe rebels looking for an excuse to go beserk at anything/anytime and they aint taking no prisoners just like Humungus's mob in MM2 all it took was Turkey Boy to piss off in disgust of the gang at the wrong point in tensions, collecting/insulting the T.C. while just previously the other toss-pot had been dragged for also showing a lack off repect/submision!
